FIASTO is designed to replace your notepad. For every sampling point, the app saves crucial information in an instant.
Stop worrying about matching coordinates to pictures later in the lab. FIASTO automatically connects all data points as soon as you create an entry.
FIASTO works seamlessly with or without internet access. If you are working in remote areas, you can still create new entries. They will be safely stored on your device and automatically uploaded as soon as you connect to WLAN or mobile data.
Once your field trip is done, you can easily export all your collected data into a structured CSV file for further processing in Excel, GIS, or R.
You can work alone or share your project folders with colleagues. Invited collaborators can view and edit entries simultaneously.
Changes are synchronized in real-time. This means if you create a new data point out in the field, your colleagues back in the lab can immediately access and process the data you just uploaded.
FIASTO was created as a private hobby project out of fun and the need to save field data more easily.
Please note that the app is provided "as is" and some functions are still under development. If you experience any irregularities, please let us know. We have many exciting updates planned, so stay tuned!

Altitude is calculated using the Google Elevation API, which is more accurate than most internal sensors in mobile phones. However, you can also enter the altitude manually. In offline mode, altitude is measured by the internal sensors. If you prefer, you can recalculate it manually.

Bei "FIASTO" (Website und App) handelt es sich um ein unentgeltliches, privates Non-Profit-Hobbyprojekt. Die Nutzung der App und aller damit verbundenen Dienste erfolgt ausdrücklich und ausschließlich auf eigenes Risiko. Die App wird "wie besehen" (as is) zur Verfügung gestellt. Jegliche Haftung für Schäden, die aus der Nutzung oder Nichtnutzbarkeit der App entstehen (insbesondere für direkte oder indirekte Schäden, Vermögensschäden oder Schäden an Geräten), wird – soweit gesetzlich zulässig – vollständig ausgeschlossen.
2. Keine Haftung für Datenverlust
Da sich das Projekt teils in einer Entwicklungsphase befindet, kann es zu Fehlfunktionen kommen. Der Nutzer ist allein für die Sicherung seiner erfassten Daten verantwortlich. Wir empfehlen dringend, regelmäßig die integrierte CSV-Export-Funktion zu nutzen und alle Daten lokal abzuspeichern. Für den Verlust, die versehentliche Löschung oder die Beschädigung von Daten (z.B. durch Serverausfälle, App-Abstürze oder bei Einstellung des Dienstes) wird absolut keine Haftung übernommen.
3. Kein Anspruch auf Verfügbarkeit oder Support
Es besteht keinerlei rechtlicher Anspruch auf die ständige Verfügbarkeit der App, der Server, Support-Leistungen, Fehlerbehebungen oder Updates. Der Entwickler behält sich ausdrücklich das Recht vor, die Entwicklung der App jederzeit, ohne vorherige Ankündigung und ohne Angabe von Gründen zu pausieren oder den Betrieb komplett einzustellen.
